Renting a private boat is the most flexible way to enjoy the sea around Cartagena: the boat is just for your group, you choose the route and the schedule, and you don't share it with strangers. We work with a network of more than 20 local speedboat, yacht and catamaran operators, so with a single request we compare options and send you the ones that fit your date, group and budget.

Boat types

28 to 38 ft speedboats for groups of up to 16, the fastest way to reach Cholón or the Rosario Islands. 39 to 46 ft flybridge yachts for 12 to 20 people, with more shade and comfort. 40 ft catamarans for up to 16 people, stable and spacious, some with cabins and bathrooms. Larger groups can combine two boats.

Most popular routes

Cholón, the calm lagoon off Barú famous for its party-on-the-water vibe; the Rosario Islands for swimming and snorkeling; the beaches of Barú; San Bernardo and Múcura Island for a longer full day; and Cartagena Bay at sunset or at night, with views of the walled city.

What does the price depend on?

The price is for the whole boat, not per person, and depends on the boat size, the route (the bay is shorter than San Bernardo), the hours (half day, full day or sunset), the date and the season. That's why we don't publish a fixed rate: we quote you with real availability for your day. Port tax and national park insurance are paid separately, per person, at the pier.

How to book

Choose a boat type, fill in the quote form with the date, number of people, route and duration, and WhatsApp opens with your request. We reply with available options, photos of the boat and payment details. Boats leave from marinas and piers in Manga and Bocagrande; the exact point is confirmed when you book.
