Quick guide: Beach Experiences

A beach club day pass is the easiest way to visit the Rosario Islands and Barú from Cartagena: you leave by boat in the morning, spend the day on a beach with everything taken care of and come back in the afternoon. These are the beach clubs we work with directly, with per-person prices and booking via WhatsApp.

How does a day pass work?

Boats leave between 7:00 and 8:30 a.m. from the La Bodeguita pier in the historic center or from Marina Todomar in Bocagrande, depending on the club. The ride takes 45 minutes to an hour, and the return is mid-afternoon: depending on the club, the boat leaves the island between 2:30 and 4:00 p.m. Times may change due to weather or Port Authority instructions.

What is usually included?

Almost every plan includes the round-trip boat, a welcome drink, lunch and a beach bed or lounger. Some add kayak, paddle board, snorkeling, a panoramic tour of the archipelago or happy hour. Each club's page has the exact details.

Costs paid separately

The pier or port fee is not included in the price and is paid on the day; for example, $31,500 at Paue (cash only) or $18,000 at Coralina. Bring cash or a card for drinks and extras too.

Can I bring children?

It depends on the club. Bora Bora and Top 3 Islands are for ages 18 and up and Pao Pao for ages 12 and up. Paue, Coralina, Mantas, Capri, Ibbiza and Sabai welcome children, several with a child rate by age.

How much does it cost?

Day passes range from $330,000 to $630,000 COP per adult, depending on the club and what is included. When you book we confirm availability for your date and the payment method.
